I finally had the time to play this. (Played v1.9)

[Mild spoilers ahead]

The frightening elements were well executed both visually and narratively. Those walls felt very SH3 and the only thing more unsettling than the bulbous things on the walls was how no one seemed to mind them.
I like that the horror elements aren't based in Claire having schizophrenia, but rather what Claire experiences as a result. So instead of reinforcing a stigma, the fear comes through perspective.

As far as gameplay, it was very intuitive, even for someone like me that's typically not great at video games.
The only thing I didn't pick up on was that you could zoom by scrolling. I just saw that in the commentary video after playing it.
I wasn't sure if taking a shower in the game had an effect or not, but I found myself doing it daily UNTIL the room changed.
Initially, I checked the phone everyday, but stopped when I realized there would be a chime notification.
Also, in my playthough, the living room lights were off when that black mannequin thing appeared by the window. I was surprised to see in the commentary video that the lights were supposed to be on, because I thought it was creepier in the dark. Was that an artifact of something unfinished that was meant to be in the game, or was it truly supposed to be just a dark static figure?

I'd be interested to see how the rest of this plays out.
I hope you're able to continue with it.
